Another Alex Update!

Alex O'Loughlin has sent another new message to his fans. He really tries to keep us up to date on his busy life. Not only is he working on several projects, he mentions being asked to throw out the first pitch @ the Dodgers vs Pirates game (on Tuesday, September 15th, 2009). I hope some Moonlight fans in the area get to see him. Sounds like Alex is gaining a bit of the popularity he deserves.

Me Again

Dear All,

As I write this I am conscious of the fact that I feel like I say the same things in every blog I send out to you all... "Thank you-Thank you-Thank you". I haven't stopped for so long and it kind of seems like my birthday came and went really quickly this year. But it wasn't without THE most ridiculous influx of gifts, cards, and the usual, wonderful support I am slowly becoming accustomed to from all of you. My ever loyal and loving fans.

So I guess I'll just say it again..

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!

Three Rivers has me very busy everyday and with the upcoming release of Whiteout I have found myself working every weekend too, busy with promotions & publicity in an attempt to launch the show and support the movie. I am very excited about both.

But the thing I am most excited about is the opportunity Three Rivers has presented for me to get back to some community service. I am now a spokesperson, and soon to start my training to become an ambassador for Donate Life America. It is such an important cause and one that so many of us could do with a little more information on.

I am now officially an organ, eye and tissue donor and have my little DLA card to keep in my wallet. (god forbid anything ever happen that would put it into action!) That being said, and again...touch wood...I now have the chance to give the gift of life, which I believe is the greatest gift of all.

On another note, and FYI, I will be doing the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson again on Labor Day (to air that night I think) and it looks like I'll pitch the first ball of the Dodgers-Pirates game on September 15th so wish me luck. I had some pitching practice today at the stadium and apparently I can throw a ball. Haha. Not at 100 MPH though. ;)

Guys, thanks for a really terrific birthday. You make me feel like I'm never alone.

Alex O'Loughlin will appear on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson in a week. YEA! It airs here (on CBS) at 12:07am on September 8th, 2009. Check your local listings for the exact time & date in your area.

Video of Sophia Myles' appearance on Craig Ferguson's show

The great Absolutely Sophia has provided a video of Sophia Myles' new interview from the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. She is supposed to be there to promote the release of her movie, Mister Foe, in the States. However, they don't really talk that much about the film... which usually happens on Craig's show. He is so funny. A brief preview clip of our girl being seductive, in Mister Foe, is shown.

Craig kept talking about Vampires before Sophia comes out. I knew that meant he would ask her about our show. When he wonders why Moonlight was canceled, she simply replies "I don't know."

We find out that Sophia's work visa expires next June, and she plans to stay at least until then. Often, she has said how much she is loving California. In this chat, she admits that she wouldn't mind becoming a US citizen.

Sophia's wallet was stolen! URGH! On top of that, she didn't even like the movie she was seeing at the time. For those who haven't heard of it, she is talking about Don Cheadle's new action/spy flick, Traitor.

I've received lots of mail from those asking who Sophia Myles is dating. Now you have your answer. According to what she told Craig, she does not currently have a boyfriend.

Hmmmmmm..... she also says that she doesn't have a pet. Around Christmas of last year, she got a puppy named Jackson. What happened to him? :(

Do they not use the "shame on you" sign in the UK? Cute that Sophia had never heard of it.

A little sneak peek of tomorrow night's Moonlight ~ Sophia's segment begins by showing the scene between Mick & Beth in Click (episode #1x14). Interesting conversation! Ever since Mick uttered "60 years is a long time to deny yourself the touch of another," the debate over exactly what he meant by that has raged. Did he mean vamp or human or both? He clears that up in this scene. ;>

Sophia Myles has been booked to appear on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson! More attention for Moonlight and our girl. YEA! Alex O'Loughlin finally gets a night off. Hahaha.... Sophia is scheduled to appear on Wednesday, April 30th, 2008. Check your local listings. The talk show normally airs around 12:35 AM. Craig interviewed Alex back in September when Moonlight first hit television.
