Continuing to contact Joel Silver & Warner Bros Studio

WOW! I've received heaps of messages from folks letting me know that they have also been writing to Warner Bros & Joel Silver. Urging them to give us more Moonlight. That makes me too happy :) :) :) I'm thrilled that you have been in this campaign too.... and not at all surprised by your dedication. We've been contacting Silver Pictures & the WB for months, and will continue to do so ~ right?!?!?

Many comments came from international fans saying that they have been sending mail. Some are using postcards showcasing their country. Very smart! Movie studios & producers want to make piles of money in the US and abroad. Mounds of colorful fan mail adorned with "Greetings from....... Australia, Germany, Brazil, Israel, England, Canada, Russia, Italy, Spain, Ireland, etc etc" is a great visual to remind them of the $$$ to be made around the world with Moonlight.

I received another exciting batch of emails from those who have not been writing to Joel Silver &/or Warner Bros ~ but now plan to after hearing Alex O'Loughlin's encouraging remarks. *cheer*

You asked for ideas about what to write. It is best to be concise and on point, since you are contacting busy people. Here are a few things I have written in various messages.... I will follow Moonlight no matter where it goes.... ask for a DVD release for season one.... encourage them to produce a film..... point out the continued support from fans even though Moonlight was canceled months ago.... express my love for our show (cast, crew and writers).... unlimited storylines.... thanks for giving us Moonlight in the first place.... Vampires are extremely popular right now.... untapped revenue to be had from movies & merchandise.... and so on :)

As requested, I'm reposting the contact info for you ~

Closure for Las Vegas television show fans?

As you know, the tv show Las Vegas was summarily canceled by NBC. Leaving the program's fans with a massive cliffhanger. What happened to the baby?!? Just like Moonlight fans, they have been campaigning to get their series picked up. Matt Mitovich, from TV Guide, spoke to Gary Scott Thompson (creator of the show). He published news today about a possible return & closure for Las Vegas fans.

I'm sharing this info with you because it illustrates the potential when fans continue to support their show. We've all read articles declaring that Las Vegas is "dead".... no chance of it being revived.... it's over.... that Josh Duhamel won't return to doing tv work now.... he's on to bigger & better things.... etc etc. Sound familiar? The producers and studios simply want to make money. Show them that big revenue can still be made with a project and they are interested.

Good luck & best wishes to the Las Vegas fans :) XO ~ Kandye

Today's News: Our Take

Exclusive: Vegas Boss "Actively Trying" for Closure
by Matt Webb Mitovich

Right now, Gary Scott Thompson, as the show runner for NBC's Knight Rider series (premiering Sept. 24), is focused on turning K.I.T.T. into an even leaner, meaner crimefighting machine. But sharing some bandwith with that mission is the idea of giving closure to the Las Vegas fans who saw their series hurried off the air as a casualty of the WGA strike. Has the ship sailed as far as hope for that goes? "I don’t think so, as far as myself and some of the cast members are concerned," Thompson told me during a detour from an in-depth look at the new Knight Rider. "We're actively trying to figure out how to do something."

Thompson says that Josh Duhamel and Molly Sims are particularly interested in spelling out what became of Danny, Delinda and their baby. "I talked to them both the other day, and they said we should do something. It was their characters that were really left hanging, and they were very upset by it."

While one possible fix would find Thompson, Duhamel and Sims simply appearing together in an online video to explain what was next, another solution would build on previous buzz about a fleeting Knight Rider cameo by the new parents. Thompson, though, would rather write the Vegas characters into an entire episode of his new baby.

"It's not impossible, because in the original [Knight Rider], Las Vegas is where one of the headquarters is," Thompson notes. "But pulling together all those people, working out the schedules.... I mean, Josh is a bona fide movie star now. But if we ever did it, it would have to entail the entire episode and answer a lot of questions." — Matt Mitovich

"Save Jericho" tv commercial produced by fans

Check out this marvelous video! In the last three weeks, hard working Jericho fans have donated money to produce a new "save our show" television commercial.... Wow! The promo spot is to be aired in the Los Angeles area. According to savejerichoagain.com, it will be shown on tv over 200 times in 10 days, beginning in the third week of June. You will be able to watch the ad during Deadliest Catch (Discovery Channel), Ghost Hunters (SciFi Network) and various programs on the History Channel.

One creative fan, who uses the name "RubberPoultry," took on the production duties. Narration is provided by Brad Beyer. He plays Stanley Richmond on the show. Jericho's production sound mixer, Phil Palmer, stepped up to record the voiceover for the commercial.

I want to say congratulations to the Jericho Rangers! Your campaign dedication is inspiring to say the least :)

Thanks to Mediaguy1441 posting the clip on YouTube, those of us not in LA get to enjoy it as well. Here is the info he included.......

So far, Jericho fans have a perfect record for saving Jericho. We're down, but not out. Fans raised $6600 to create this spot, and approached me to write and produce it. Brad Beyer, (a series regular) provided the voice over.

This is the culmination of all of our efforts. May we Save Jericho Again!
