Only 2 more Fridays for the Keep It Dark campaign

Only two more weeks to go before Moonlight returns! *cheer* Of course, the Keep It Dark campaign continues until then. CBS still has not put any of Moonlight's episodes on the official website for our viewing. Even tho there were no videos to stream, Moonlight still used to be an option when you clicked on "full episodes." Now, CBS has removed our show from that menu. *sigh* I hope all of this is just to prepare for the return. You'd think the network would realize that it would help new fans if they were able to watch reruns of the first 12 episodes before jumping into the fresh ones. For those lovely newbies..... you can find Moonlight's episodes posted on YouTube.

Tonight, we will watch Love Lasts Forever (episode #1x11) on Veoh together.

Moonlight Friday......... remember to Keep It Dark for our show tonight! Turn off those televisions! Since CBS still isn't giving us any episodes on the official site, let's watch Love Lasts Forever (episode #1x11) together on the Veoh page. :) We've already increased the view count there from 8216 to 9141 just since Tuesday, March 11th. *cheer* I know we can blow that number up! Those of you with TiVo can watch your saved episodes.

And ~ of course ~ keep sending feedback to CBS.

Full episode of Love Lasts Forever (#1x11) on Veoh for online viewing

Veoh is a free Internet TV service. Unlike YouTube, they have contracts with television networks which allow them to broadcast full episodes online. CBS has posted Love Lasts Forever (#1x11) on Veoh. Since no episodes of Moonlight are currently available on the official CBS site, we will just have to watch LLF. DARN... forced to see Mick working out over & over again. I think a photo of that scene would be perfect for this post. *wink* Of course, it is also sad due to what happens to one of our characters ~ not naming names for those who are new to this episode. Vamped out Mick and great action too.... really, LLF has it all.

Keep It Dark campaign continues Friday, March 7th

The Keep It Dark for Moonlight campaign continues Friday, March 7th, 2008. CBS is only streaming Arrested Development (episode #1x05) on Moonlight's official site. Guess what we are watching tomorrow night?! hahahaha.... This is very important. Streaming video hits are tracked. We want the network to see that huge numbers of viewers are willing to watch our show online. Also, keep asking CBS to add more to the "Full Episode" menu. It would be great if they would put up the last few (Love Lasts Forever #1x11 & The Mortal Cure #1x12 at least) in preparation for the new episodes.

Keep It Dark campaign in support of Moonlight begins tonight!

Tonight, we begin our Moonlight Fridays online! All of our televisions will be turned off. We will be watching Moonlight's Fever episode (#1x04) together on the official CBS site. Let's send the network the message that they are losing viewers by not having our show on the air! Ask everyone you know to join us online tonight ~ friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, Uncle Bob. I have access to several computers.... and you can be assured that they will all be streaming Moonlight episodes :)

Keep It Dark on Friday Night to Support Moonlight!

Just a reminder..... We are planning to turn off our televisions on Friday nights, and watch Moonlight episodes on the official CBS website instead. The network decided to put our show on hiatus in order to air The Price is Right. The goal of the Keep It Dark campaign is to get huge numbers for the online episode. Hopefully, that will make CBS realize the ratings they are missing out on by not airing Moonlight. Wouldn't it be super cool if we caused their server to crash!??!? :>

This week ~ Friday, February 22nd ~ we will be watching the Fever episode (#1x04) together. Spread the word!

Support Moonlight ~ Watch our show on CBS.com every Friday night

Thank you to Suzanne and Leeser for sharing this great idea!

While The Price Is Right is running on Friday nights, the plan is to go to www.cbs.com and to all watch the same episode of Moonlight with the intention of sending CBS a message. We do know that they pay attention to what we're watching on CBS.com, so it should be obvious that we're not watching the available "current" programming. Yes, this may crash their streaming video server, but they're still going to know which streaming vid made it all come crashing down.

Please spread this around to all the other Moonlight sites you can possibly think of during the next week. Let them know that this is a concerted effort and that we need to come together to make this all happen.
