Viewers refuse to delete Moonlight from their DVR/TiVo

You did it! Recently, I posted TV Guide's call for readers to let them know which television programs you recorded to watch over & over again. They have released the results. Thanks to all the wonderful fan comments, Moonlight is on the list of shows viewers refuse to delete! *cheer*

Moonlight on Top 20 list of shows with high Internet activity

Hitwise is an Internet research company. They recently released a list of television shows that have the largest number of visits on the web. Per an article in Media Post.......

Three rookie shows made the top 20: CW's "Gossip Girl" at 11th place with a 1.36% market share; NBC's "Chuck" in 16th place with a 1.04% share; and CBS' "Moonlight," in 17th place at a 1.03% share.

NBC's "Deal or No Deal" garnered the largest share of viewer visits. The show garnered a 48% market share of Internet visits for the week ending Dec. 15. The next-biggest show was Fox's venerable "America's Most Wanted," taking in a far-distant 3.8% market share.

48%? WOW! It is great that Moonlight made the list out of all the new programs. We need to be sure to visit the official CBS site as often as possible.

Ratings for Moonlight's November 23rd Episode

Live plus same day (fast affiliate) ratings for the Fleur De Lis episode on November 23rd......

Viewers 7.33 million (#2); A18-49, 2.2/ 6 (#2)

We knew that the ratings would be down a bit due to Thanksgiving ~ all that eating, traveling and visiting ~ and Black Friday shopping. Women's Murder Club was 1st in total viewers with 7.76 million. Again, we are right behind them! Moonlight beat WMC in the demo but, the NBC movie "Family Man" won the demo this week.

A lot of Moonlight fans TIVO the show every week. Can you imagine how many more did so due to the holiday?!? So, keep in mind that the show's numbers will change when the live plus 7 days (DVR) ratings come in.

Moonlight's ratings for Friday, November 16th episode!

Hello.... it is ratings time for last night's episode 12:04 (#1x08) ~

Moonlight viewers 8.22 million (#2) ~ A18-49: 2.7/ 8 (#1)

YEA! We won the demo... again! That makes 7 out of 8 airings that we have taken the number one spot. Women's Murder Club was 1st in total viewers with 8.9 million. However, as you can see, Moonlight GAINED viewers once more this week and we are right on their heels ~ 8.2 to their 8.9. We just need to keep spreading the word about our show, contacting CBS, media outlets, voting for it in the People's Choice Awards and so on. You are doing a fabulous job! Best fans ever :)

Ratings for last night's Moonlight Episode

Below are the ratings for last night's episode ~ The Ringer # 1x07. We came in second to Womens Murder Club in total viewers. However, we won the important 18 to 49 demographic again! Moonlight has been 1st in the demo 6 out of 7 airings. Since they grade it separately, you can see that it is highly prized.

We do need to bring up the overall viewer numbers! Keep spreading the news of how great Moonlight is to family, friends, co-workers, strangers, imaginary friends ~ Ha! Send feedback to CBS, post messages in forums and remember to vote every day for the People's Choice Award. Being 2nd in total viewership gives us hope. Friday Night Lights is in 3rd place even though it has been receiving nothing but praise from critics.

Viewers 7.97 million ~ #2, A18-49: 2.5/ 7 ~ #1 with a viewer increase of 395,000! Keep it growing :)
