Moonlight wins Saturn Award for Best Television Series DVD


Moonlight won the Saturn Award for Best Television Series Release on DVD! *cheer*

35th Annual Saturn Awards
Given by The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films


Co-executive producer & writer for Moonlight, Harry Werksman, accepted the award ~ photograph above. As I mentioned in a previous post, our show was competing in the category against the following tv shows : Doctor Who (The Complete Fourth Series) (BBC Warner), Heroes (Season 2) (Universal), Lost (The Complete Fourth Season) (Walt Disney), Reaper (Season One) (Lionsgate), Torchwood (Season 2) (BBC Warner) & The Tudors (The Complete Second Season) (Paramount / Showtime). Yep- thats a great award- congratulations! Its kinda weird though- as much as I love having MOONLIGHT on DVD, it seems that it was hastily put together-there were no extras at all - where were the cast interviews, all of the behing the scenes stuff, gag reel, etc.? What is the criteria for winning this award?
