Summer just got a lot scarier on The CW. The network will air the acclaimed drama MOONLIGHT on Thursday nights beginning June 3. MOONLIGHT will air from 9:00-10:00 p.m. ET, following encore episodes of the first season of the The CW’s hit drama, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES.
On MOONLIGHT, Mick St. John (Alex O’Loughlin) is a captivating, charming and immortal private investigator from Los Angeles, who defies the traditional blood-sucking norms of his vampire tendencies by using his wit and powerful supernatural abilities to help the living. In a life-altering twist of fate, Mick was “bitten” 60 years ago by his new bride, the seductive Coraline (Shannyn Sossamon). Forever 30 years of age, Mick’s as handsome and charismatic as the day he was “turned,” and he eschews others of his kind who view humans only as a source of nourishment. With only a handful of like-minded confidantes for company, including the eternally young, wealthy and mischievous Josef (Jason Dohring), a hedge fund trader who relishes his uniqueness, Mick fills his infinite days protecting the living. One night years ago, a single act of kindness changed Mick when he saved a young girl’s life, making him want to be a better vampire. Now their paths cross again and Mick develops a distinctive bond with Beth Turner (Sophia Myles), who has grown into a beautiful, ambitious internet investigative reporter. So why have I not been able to find any thing done in 2009, I would really like to know what happens next. Have watched every thing up until the end of 2008.
So what next... they make new fans of the show and piss them off too?! It's been 2 years and I'm still angry at CBS. They always cancel shows that win the People's Choice Award or the actor's win Emmy's. They did the same thing with Joan of Arcadia. And Cold Case. Still bitter about that. And they wonder why people watch cable now. It's not because it's racier. It's because at least on cable, they commit to character development and when they do decide to cancel a show at least there's closer.
Wow....It is really a glad news. Moonlight is one of my favorite show. I like to watch Alex O’Loughlin in this show. He is looking really hot in this show.

I have watch this show from the first time it came on cbs after 1 season it was gone why is it when we get a GREAT SHOW LIKE THIS ONE you ALWAYS CANCEL it!!!!! I would like to know why????? There are so many damn show like NIKITA hello who wants to watch a spy show when we live like that now all your doing is give people more reason to hurt the people of the USA. If you don't bring back MOONLIGHT then I will not be watching the CW... What a lost of a GREAT SHOW AND THE PEOPLE that watch 2show on Thursday night..
This is not fair...cancelling Moonlight just made more people disappointed. They should think about the fans and people who LIKE this show. CBS is so stupid.
But now, i still didn't understand what's the connection with the Vampire Diaries...Moonlight is better. It's first better than the Vampire Diaries. I wonder when is Moonlight Season 2 coming back. Im not going to stop until i at least watch season 2 episode 1 on my death bed!!!
