Jason Dohring takes 3rd place in charity golf tournament

Jason Dohring played in the 2008 BMW Charity Pro-Am Golf Tournament last weekend. He and his professional partner, Nick Malinowski, took 3rd place honors at -42 under pair. They won $8,000 for the Boy Scouts! *cheer*

Retired NHL star, Wayne Gretzky, and his golfing partner, Chris Nallen, won the Pro-Am/Pro-Celeb. They are donating their winnings of $10,000 to The Charles Lea Center.

Many celebrity golfers took part in the fun, such as.... Luke Wilson, Kurt Russell, Catherine Bell, Dennis Quaid, Cheech Marin, Sterling Sharpe, Patrick Warburton, Stefanie Schaeffer, Branford Marsalis, Greg Kinnear to name a few.

The Breast Cancer Fund ~ Climb Against the Odds ~ Benefit tomorrow night!

Reminder... Artists in Support of the Climb Against the Odds fundraiser is tomorrow night!

I've been asked by lots of people if Alex O'Loughlin is behind this charity along with his girlfriend, Holly Valance. Yep! If you look at the website for the benefit, Alex & Holly are listed as "celebrity supporters." Holly is also credited as production manager.

I'm happy to see that this amazing cause has so many stars putting their name to good use..... James Gandolfini, Orlando Jones, Jaime Pressly, Chris Noth, James Woods are just a few who have joined Holly & Alex.

The lovely Holly Valance asked for her message to be shared. I am happy to do so because it is very important that we support such an amazing cause! Just as Holly mentions, I can not think of anyone I know who is untouched by this disease. Very sad.....

The Climb Against the Odds will take place June 15th to 21st, 2008 at Mt Shasta in California. A group of 35 breast cancer survivors & supporters will gather there to take on this challenge of climbing the mountain, which is 14, 162 feet. "Their journey is both a collective effort to prevent breast cancer and a personal challenge to beat the disease."
