Kandye, any idea how to interpret these numbers? Seems like we took a drop, even tho we still won the spot. I guess that is to be expected on a show that everyone knows has been cancelled? (between fans saying -- heck with it, watching live won't make a difference now and less enthusiastic watchers saying what's the point???).

My assumption would be these numbers might convince CBS they made the right decision, but should still be plenty good enough to attract a smaller network.

Anyway, what do think?

i am happy either way about the ratings. we know it and cbs knows it about how much we the fans loved the special episode.

and i will admit mick and beth did not need to have sex to show that they loved each other. the way there emotions were was plenty of sexy for me and so was that kiss i will always love mick and beth. i hope they bring them back

I realize that I've been living, breathing, and watching little else other than Moonlight for a few months now, and I may be only slightly less fanatical than you, but still, I'm surprised that so many people seem to not realize that Moonlight has been cancelled, especially international fans. See the comments at:

I work at a high school, so on Friday I paid for three long distance phone calls to that CBS line for me and for two students I know who love the show--demographics? Rural Colorado, ages 16, 17, and 53. So there.

is that good bad!!?

look what wiki said

Following the CBS cancellation, Warner Bros. inquired with other outlets about their interest in the show,[7] though none decided to acquire the show.[8]

:( is this the end!?

Thank you, Kandye. I've been wondering what the ratings were like for the final episode. They were good, huh? Just not as good as GW and #'s, which is a shame. :( I'm not sure why that's unacceptable to CBS... I mean, Moonlight came in first, right? How can that be bad?

Thank you for being so encouraging and balanced over the last week. I've been spending a lot of time on the forums at and looking for good news and kindred spirits, but am so discouraged by some of the belligerent comments about CBS. I'm unhappy too, but spitting poison isn't going to change anyone's minds, ya know?

Anyway, keep up the good work!! We're all in this together.

I can't understand why more people don't watch the show. It only took me half an episode to get hooked. Critics are always saying the writing is crap etc etc, but I think it is great and the acting fantastic. Although you only have to look at the movies that win academy awards- they are usually the worst stories ever.
