Final official Twilight movie trailer released today

Official, final trailer #3 for Twilight film!

This video shows the new official trailer for the Twilight movie which was released today! It is spoilery for those who have not read Stephenie Meyer's engrossing book series. The clip shows glimpses of several key scenes such as.... Edward's rescue of Bella in the school parking lot, the Cullen's baseball game, Edward & bad Vampire James fighting...... and, best of all, the much anticipated kiss between Bella and Edward!

Twilight will premiere in US movie theaters on Friday, November 21st, 2008.

We have discussed extensively the upcoming Vampire projects coming to television, bookstores and movie screens. Specifically addressing the fact that vamps are VERY popular right now, and that CBS could have had an established tv series giving them a head start.... if only they had not canceled Moonlight. One happy by-product of all the new Vampyre hype is continued media attention for our show.

Saying that the soon to be released film, Twilight, is generating enormous buzz does not even come close to covering the volume of anticipation. When a prized novel such as Twilight (written by Stephanie Meyer, by the way) is converted to film, there is always concern about the end result not living up to the original material. I've enjoyed the scenes & trailers shown thus far. Plus, Stephanie Meyer has said tons of wonderful things about the cast, director and crew.

I've gotten a bunch of messages from you asking for more info about Twilight. Your wish is my command..... but don't let that go to your head! *wink*

Breaking Dawn ( Twilight Saga Book #4 : the final chapter in the series ) is coming out on August 2nd, 2008. Libraries & bookstores across the country are hosting midnight release parties.

First ~ I'm posting the brand new Twilight teaser trailer ( the 2nd one to be exact ) that was just released.

Second ~ A video filmed on the set in Oregon. It was screened at the New York Comic Con. A discerning, tough crowd to please. Lots of fun behind the scenes stuff! In the promo clip, you hear brief interviews with author Stephanie Meyer, director Catherine Hardwicke, Rob Pattinson (Edward Cullen), Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan), Cam Gigandet (James), Rachelle Lefevre (Victoria), Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen) and more.

Twilight is set to premiere in US theaters on Friday, December 12th 2008.

Perez Hilton ~ Vampires Are In

Blogger Perez Hilton has written a post saying what we have all been discussing for months! Vampire stories are more popular than ever right now. Books.... Southern Vampire series of Charlaine Harris and Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer, Movies... such as (of course) Twilight, Lost Boys 2 : The Tribe, Rise with Lucy Liu & Michael Chiklis. TV... True Blood on HBO. CBS could have been a leader with an already established television show in Moonlight. :(

The Vampyre girl in me is excited by all the projects coming out, and can not believe how short sighted the executives at CBS were with our show! *sigh*

Vampires Are In

Vampires will be showing their teeth the next few months!

On the first Saturday in August, teens are expected to attend midnight parties at bookstores across the land in droves to celebrate the release of author Stephenie Meyer's Breaking Dawn, the fourth and final book of her Twilight series.

Breaking Dawn has a first run printing of 3.5 million copies.

And then, not too long after that, the first Twilight movie should be hitting movie screens worldwide.

Also, in September, HBO's premiering the vampire show True Blood on September 7th.

True Blood is based on a series of novels by Charlaine Harris. It's set in a world where vampires have come out into the open, thanks to the development of synthetic blood that allows them to survive without feeding on humans.

Anna Paquin will star as a mind-reading waitress who's drawn to a vampire who arrives in her small Louisiana town.

The undead live on!
