Another update! Update from Deadline Hollywood Daily

Nikki has posted this update to Moonlight's ongoing story......

UPDATE: I hear MRC now has been asked to consider Moonlight for mid-season. This is such a shot in the dark it's barely worth posting. But I'm posting nonetheless.

ANOTHER UPDATE to her previous update ~ Nikki just added this to the above.... I've also been told that CBS continues to hold an option on the star of the show, Alex O"Loughlin, and that he's in demand for other projects.

Oh God, please. I feel like going to church, and I haven't been to church in over 5 years. I'm willing to wait until next July if I have to, as long as I have something to wait for.

If Moonlight gets reconsidered anywhere, I have a feeling CBS can kiss his a**, lol.

Midseason is better than nothing. What is this I hear CBS continues to hold option for Alex to star in other projects. Personally if I were Alex I would tell them to shove it where the sun don't shine. They treated Alex and the rest of the cast like crap. Alex is better off on another network or in the movies. In my opinion Alex is too good for CBS

I'll cling to anything at this stage although its not looking good - Friday the Fortress of Style gets ripped down!

News on the street according to moonlightarmy.com is SciFi is EXTREMELY interested in our show. So we know if something with the CW falls out, they're most likely the second contenders for a pickup. Keep emailing!

What does an "option" entail? Does this mean CBS could claim first dibs on Alex and literally kill the show by not letting him follow it to a new channel?
