January 2009 is gonna be very good to Moonlight fans! First, the season one DVD will be released on January 20th. Then......... The Sci-Fi Network will begin airing repeats of Moonlight on Friday, January 23rd! That's right, we get our Friday night fix back :) Of course, we wish it could be new episodes of the show. However, it will be fantastic to see Alex O'Loughlin, Jason Dohring, Sophia Myles, Shannyn Sossamon and the gang back on our tv screens. *cheer*

Hallelujah! They finally see the light! We're getting our second season of Season One! Get Alex O'Loughlin, Sophia Myles & Jason Dohring back on our TVs where they belong. My Friday nights are special once again!
While this news thrills me, I can't help but think "Now you're interested in ML?! Where were you when we were looking for a new home months ago?".

Well - I guess its cheaper to pick up a re-run season that manage a whole new season.
That said - is there a chance that this could give Moonlight exposure which could result in this (or another) network picking it up for a new season? I believe that is what happened with Star Trek - isn't it?
Yes! We get our friday nights back! I thought I'd never get to see them back on TV again, but here it is! Not as good as actual new episodes, but its beter than nothing! I cant wait till January!

I loved Moonlight, I thought for sure it was just off during the writers strike, but alas it was gone forever. I can live without Ghost Whisperer and Numbers and Without a Trace but not Moonlight. Who's in charge at CBS anyway? Wish it would come back with all new stories.
Is it possible that if SciFi picks up with showing the repeats and they get a good viewer rating, could there possibly be a second season? Maybe SciFi will take up the show?
