Happy Birthday to Shannyn Sossamon

Today is the lovely Shannyn Sossamon's 30th birthday! In honor of that, I'm posting a great fan video created by the talented DarkRavyn. The clip is dedicated to Shannyn's Moonlight character, Coraline, and Mick St John. All the scenes are set to the song #1 Crash by Garbage, which happens to be a fave of mine too :)

Just more inspiration to continue to fight for our show! Seeing these choice scenes of the stunning Alex O'Loughlin and Sophia Myles is certainly motivational, isn't it?

My friends ~

I know everyone is discouraged right now due to the leak of negative news about CBS' intentions with Moonlight. Remember, nothing is official yet. We will not know the true fate of our show's renewal or cancelation until the network makes the announcement during the upfronts on Wednesday.

The entertainment business is just that.... a business. It's about money. Several sources have reported that CBS is trying to get Warner Bros Studio to shoulder more of the cost. For all we know, these leaks are simply their way of pressuring the WB even more by getting Moonlight fans whipped into a frenzy.

Perhaps, as some media outlets are reporting, Moonlight will come back as a midseason show. Maybe it will be picked up by another network or move to cable. Alex O'Loughlin said "there'd be a lot more blood, there'd be a lot more sex, there'd be a lot more everything" if Moonlight was a cable show. I could live with that ;>

Bottom line.... I will watch Moonlight no matter when or where it is shown! My loyalty is not to CBS, it is to the show!

Not long ago, I had the fantastic opportunity to work with DarkRavyn & DJ Timmy D to create a "Save Our Vampire" video, featuring the delicious Alex O'Loughlin as our Mick St John. I think the message is even more important and needed now. A little pick me up and a battle cry for Moonlight fans. We won't give up the fight for Moonlight, will we?!??

Be heard as a Moonlight viewer! Of course, we need to continue to be polite & concise in all correspondence. Threatening &/or insulting messages will not help our cause. I know that I can count on you to simply speak from your heart :)

Fan Video ~ Bleeding Love A MickBeth Story

Welcome to Moonlight Friday! I can not wait to learn more about Mick St John from the flashbacks & memories in tonight's episode ~ What's Left Behind (#1x15). What do our lovely writers have in store for us?!?

To keep us going through the last few hours, we have a wonderful fan video to enjoy. DarkRavyn has created another amazing clip for us ~ Bleeding Love A MickBeth Story. I like the way she describes it, "Beth and Mick have both been hurt by love in the past. But when they realize that they should be together will they overcome their pasts or run scared? What do you do when you find your one true love? You open a vein...and let love in."

Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis is the music used. Great choice! DarkRavyn mixes some of the best Mick & Beth moments that really match the song. Kissing.... biting.... a little blood ;>

DarkRavyn's wonderful new video promoting Moonlight's April 25th return

I'm sure that you have all read the following statement that CBS released.....

“Thank you for watching Moonlight and for your incredible support of the series. We are excited that the series will be coming back in April with four new, original episodes. Like any new television series, a decision to renew for next season is largely based on how many viewers watch the program. We encourage you to tell your friends about the upcoming episodes and work with us to find more viewers for Moonlight.”

We have been promoting the series for them since day one! I'm jealous of the cool promos the UK's Living Channel have created to showcase Moonlight. Why doesn't CBS do anything like that here? I can't tell you how many people I have spoken to that have no idea our show is even on the air! They watch other shows on the network (like CSI) but have never seen a Moonlight commercial. *growl* I hope CBS will actually promote the four new episodes (beginning April 25th), especially since their decision obviously depends on those ratings.

Of course, we can not depend on CBS. We must continue to spread the word ourselves. DarkRavyn has created this wonderful fan video promo for the April 25th return of Moonlight! She uses some great scenes from the show. If I wasn't already addicted to the show, this video would make me wanna check it out :)

Video ~ Rally the fans to Save Our Vampire! Support Moonlight!

I have worked with the lovely & talented DarkRavyn on a new Moonlight fan video. Our hope is to rally even more fans to write, call and email CBS in support of the show. No one can watch these amazing Alex O'Loughlin scenes without being inspired, right? You know how I feel about vamped out Mick St John. *wink* Mick doesn't back down from a fight.... and neither do we! As usual, DarkRavyn did the most amazing editing job.

Please, pass on the news about this video. We need everyone to contact CBS daily until we get that second season renewal announcement Moonlight deserves. SAVE OUR VAMPIRE!
